Abeloosdesign mocht het logo maken voor de Kasparov Chess Foundation Europe.
De beroemde schaakspeler Garry Kasparov en Jan Callewaert, de stichter van Option, kondigden vandaag de oprichting aan van deze stichting, die als doel heeft om kinderen in scholen in heel Europa met het schaakspel te laten kennismaken.
“The mission of this non-profit organization will be to bring the many educational benefits of chess to children and young people – aged between 6 and 18 – throughout schools in Europe, both public and private, by providing a complete chess curriculum and enrichment programs. The Foundation will also promote the study of chess as a cognitive learning tool and organize tournaments and competitions for children and young people.”
